I am a lecturer 1 in the Department of Internal medicine, University of medical sciences, Ondo state (UNIMED). I obtained my basic medical degree from the University of Benin in 2006 where I was awarded the best graduating student in mental health. Thereafter, I did my residency training in psychiatry and was awarded a Fellowship of the West African College of physicians in 2016. Currently, I am also a certified trainer on Behavioural Family Therapy with the Meriden family in the United Kingdom, a volume C trainer for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and, the Institutional coordinator for the National Suicide Research and Prevention Initiative in UNIMED. I have co-authored five research articles published in international journals. My research interest is centred on the mental health issues of staff, students as well as various aspects in consultation-liaison psychiatry.
